Grant Mason
Head of Wealth Solutions, Wealth Management
Grant is Head of Wealth Solutions for the wealth management business of FirstCape, leading strategy, client offerings, and market positioning. He joined JBWere in 2019 as Head of Wealth Management after returning to New Zealand. Previously, he spent 11 years at BlackRock in London and Hong Kong, holding senior roles in institutional business and strategic product management. He began his career at PwC and UBS Investment Bank.
With deep expertise in financial services, investment, and governance, Grant is passionate about helping investors grow their wealth.
Grant is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and Institute of Finance Professionals of New Zealand. He has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Finance, Econometrics), Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and Master of Commerce and Administration (Economics) from Victoria University of Wellington, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma.
Outside work, he enjoys the outdoors with his family.
